Strong Kids Campaign

Many Logan County families have experienced financial hardships over the past few years and continue to do so.  As a result, we have seen an increased need for granting YMCA program scholarships (financial assistance).

Our Lincoln Area YMCA scholarship program ensures that those local families who apply and meet qualifying income levels, receive financial assistance which in turn allows them to pay only a portion of the actual program fee.  In other words, our YMCA scholarship fund provides that portion of the program fee that the family cannot afford, and in turn children still get an opportunity to come to the Lincoln Area YMCA to play, laugh, learn and have fun with their friends!

You can help by sending financial donations or contributions that will be set aside for this scholarship fund.  Your donations are only used for your local YMCA in Lincoln, IL and are tax-deductible to the extent the law allows.  Area children benefit and their families receive the added bonus of fellowship as many great families watch their children from the sidelines at our sport events and other fun activities.

Your financial gift of $25 - $40 ensures one child the opportunity to experience learning and fun in soccer, basketball, art, preschool, swim lessons, and so much more.

Your financial gift of $50 - $100 ensures one child a week of after school programming or an entire week of summer day camp.

Please call or visit the YMCA today to learn more about our on-going scholarship program and how you can help.  Financial donations or pledges are accepted in any amount, anytime and for the program of your choice.

Thank you for helping the Lincoln Area YMCA build strong kids, strong families and a strong community.
