Winter/Spring Cheerleading 2010

    Children ages 4yrs to 5th grade and 6th to 12th Grade will learn cheers, cheer techniques and forms. Our Cheer Coach Cathy Sanders is back and will conduct practices on MONDAY evenings and events throughout the school year. Also, the YMCA Cheerleaders will also be highlighted as special guests as they perform at many community events such as; football games, basketball games, parades and more.  The sessions are 4 weeks long at the YMCA Activity Center on Wyatt Avenue.

Add $10 fee increase AFTER deadline dates:

Practices consist of three, 4 week periods OR 12 weeks with
2 weeks FREE, if registered for all of Fall Cheerleading at initial signup.
There will be scheduled events throughout the '09-'10 school year.

  BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

The Lincoln Area YMCA is pleased to have the opportunity to serve you and your family year round with well structured and affordable school age programs for Pre-K (at Adams school), and Kindergarten - 6th grade. The Lincoln Area YMCA School Age program activities include daily snack, physical games and recreation, craft fun, homework assistance, character building, a reading program, table games and activities, plus much more! Many of our activities will stimulate social interaction, enhance physical development, and accelerate intellectual abilities. Participants in Before/After School must be current YMCA Members.

School’s Out Fun Days are special fun activity days that are often thematically planned according to the relative season. Kids experience recreational games and play, hands-on projects, art fun, guest speakers, story time, mini character development lessons, and much more that encourages and promotes social skills and physical development.
